February 11, 2009

Baton Rouge Business Report

A Daily Report online poll shows that if the U.S. Senate election was today, incumbent David Vitter would get the most votes. Forty percent of the people who responded to the survey say they would vote for Vitter, a Republican running for his second Senate term. Thirty-one percent say they would vote for Stormy Daniels, the porn star from Baton Rouge who is being pushed to run for the seat. Twenty-nine percent say they would vote for Jim Bernhard, president and CEO of the Shaw Group and a former chairman of the Louisiana Democratic Party. More than 2,200 people participated in the survey.
