BATON ROUGE, La – The next U.S. Senate race isn’t until 2010, but already names are surfacing as to who will challenge Republican David Vitter in his re-election bid.
One name that is creating a lot of buzz is adult film actress and Baton Rouge native Stormy Daniels. According to an unscientific online poll by the Baton Rouge Business Report, Daniels comes in second to Vitter with 31 percent of the vote. Vitter had 40 percent. Twenty-nine percent of the 2,200 people who took the survey said they would vote for Shaw Group CEO Jim Bernhard, a democrat.
